About Me

With over 11 years experience in delivery of Evidence Based Practice for the NHS, I support children, young people and their families in a CAMHS multi disciplinary team.

I also offer private sessions to young people and adults across Staffordshire and Cheshire.

I currently work as a CBT therapist (fully accredited with the BABCP www.cbtregisteruk.com), offering CBT to young people and adults. Cognitive Behaviour Therapy is a way of working on difficulties that uses both the way we think, together with what we do, to positively change behaviour and cognitions.  I also provide CBT supervision.

I work with children and young people, who experience low mood, anxiety, self-harm, stress, social anxiety, panic disorder, vomit phobia, general phobias, obsessive compulsive disorder, separation anxiety, generalised anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. This is evidence-based practice, supported by research that demonstrated the value that CBT can bring to the above.

I am also an EMDR Therapist, working with young people and adults.

I am also trained in Triple P, offering support to parents to manage the changing behaviour of young people, aged between 2-16 years. I am also trained in managing and supporting parents, where the parent may experience low mood, anxiety or anger difficulties.
