Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a fantastic evidence based talking therapy, that can transform your life and help you to achieve the goals you want.
It is based on the idea that your thoughts, feelings, physical sensations and behaviour are interconnected, and that negative thoughts and feelings can trap you in a cycle.
CBT aims to help you deal with overwhelming difficulties, in a more positive way, by breaking them down into gradual steps. Sessions will include new ways to tackle these difficulties, to help you to reach your full potential.
There is lots of evidence base showing the effectiveness of CBT.
The National Institute for Clinical Excellence recommends CBT for many different mental health difficulties some of these include anxiety, depression, phobias, PTSD and OCD to name a few.
I offer CBT Therapy remotely via zoom and also face to face at a clinic in Stafford.
Sessions are collaborative, we will work together to understand your current difficulties and what maintains this, we will then develop a treatment plan together based on your goals for change.
CBT Really Can Be Life Changing
The BABCP have produced a helpful short video explaining CBT and how it can help you.
